We recently built our home with Today Homes in Christchurch and had a very pleasant experience overall. They completed the build really fast, started the building in beginning of July and they handed over two weeks before Christmas (they promised to complete before Christmas and they kept their promise) we initially were dealing with Sarah Columbus who guided us in each and every step until till the building consent. Our project manager Nathan Waller made our experience real smooth, very responsive to emails and calls. We would really recommend Today Homes to our friends and family. Hamish kept us involved and updated throughout the build and ensured the property exceeded our expectations. Friends of ours who have used different large building firms at the same time have paid more for smaller and lesser quality homes and their builds still aren't complete. If you're thinking of building it would be a mistake not to talk to Today Homes.

Brad was friendly, helpful and professional from the day we met at our first meeting, till even now. Brad explained the full build process and also guided us in building our first home. Brad has amazing people and excellent communication skills and I fully recommend anyone looking at building a home to go see Brad as your New Home Consultant. Our Contract Manager Paul was amazing and easy to contact regarding queries. Paul kept us up to date with the relevant information and the timeline with the build process as well keeping a good eye on detail on the subcontractor works and ensuring that the job was done at a great standard. Our build was delayed to COVID 19, which was completely understandable. Today Homes did the reschedule date and met the timeline. We were very happy with the communication with this and proud of how they met the timeline. Today Homes tradespeople are amazing and do a fantastic job to the highest quality standard. All the tradespeople were friendly and helpful.

This is the second house Today Homes have built for me. Prior to building, I did a lot of homework, requesting pricing from 3 different building companies and both occasions Today Homes came out on top. Delivery dates, size, price (value for money) – believe me a did a lot of research because building a house is a huge investment. I do not have one regret selecting Today Homes for each house builds and would highly recommend anyone to engage with Today Homes when building. The consent was in – now the build starts – I met Mike on site, we walked around the section with the house plans ensuring we were both on the same page. Personable guy, easy to talk to and he had a wealth of knowledge about the building industry, the process of a build, all my questions could be answered on the spot. I discussed the time frame expectation with Mike right at the beginning, he sent through a build progress plan right down to the day and Today Homes achieved every date target, in fact, hand over date was a week early. Mike managed all parties very well and not one company dropped the ball on timing. Mike is a great asset to have on the Today Homes Team. Some people say, building a house is very stressful – I say, no idea what they are talking about, both my builds with Today Homes were far from stressful! And just to top off the fantastic service and support I received from Today homes (not to mention a finished product that I absolutely love) is that I was given a bottle of Champagne to celebrate when made the decision to go ahead with Today Homes, a beautiful gift basket full of all sorts of goodies on my new bench for hand over day and then scrumptious Chocolate cake from Divine was delivered to my door for the 1 year anniversary of being in my new house. Overall experience – One very ecstatic customer (for the second time).

We built with today homes and have been in our house for a week and to say we are so beyond happy with it is an understatement. People always asked us how stressed we were during the build, and we never understood why because of how stress-free it was.
